From charge to quarterly payout
Zeres is a registration service for EREs with the Dutch Emissions Authority. We handle the entire process: from reading your charging data to the payout to your account.
Step-by-step
Register your charger in five steps
Sign up
Private users sign up via the sign-up button; businesses and HOAs request a quote. You receive an email confirmation right away.
Register your charger
Provide your charger ID and EAN. We register your charge point(s) with the NEa and arrange the mandate.
Connect your charge data
We read your charger automatically via OCPP or API. If that is not possible, you submit your kWh each quarter yourself via the portal, WhatsApp, app or email.
We book and trade
We convert your charged green electricity into ERE's and trade them on the emissions market.
Receive your quarterly payout
Each quarter we pay out your net proceeds, with a clear report.

What does it cost and what do you get back
Our commission
Private: 19% incl. VAT, each renewal year –1% (down to min. 14%). Businesses/HOAs: 13% ex VAT, each renewal year –1% (down to min. 11%).
Extra costs
Private individuals: paid by Zeres. Therefore, no costs. Companies/Homeowners' Associations: €150 annually excl. VAT for the mandatory NEa audit and €1,700 for companies with more than 75,000 kWh of charging electricity per year. These are the mandatory audit costs.
Contract form
Annual contract with 1 month notice. Cancel by November 30 at the latest for the next calendar year.
Revenue guarantee
We don't guarantee a fixed price - we sold 57M ERE's and fixed the value for 2026.
